OUR SERVICES

Our Supported Independent Living services provide a safe and supportive home environment where participants can build independence, develop life skills and grow in confidence.

We tailor support to each person’s goals, preferences and daily routines, working closely with families and allied health professionals to help participants build capacity and live the life they choose. Our SIL support can help participants to:
 

• Build daily living skills and independence
• Develop routines at home and in the community
• Improve confidence and decision-making
• Stay healthy, safe and supported
• Build social skills and meaningful relationships

We currently have Supported Independent Living vacancies available in Newcastle.

We understand that social connection and meaningful activities are an important part of wellbeing - in, fact they are essential. We support participants to build confidence, develop social skills and take part in activities that are important to them.
Community Access may include support to:

• Attend appointments, social activities and community events
• Participate in hobbies, interests and recreational activities
• Strengthen communication and social skills
• Build friendships and community connections

Our goal is to help participants feel included, connected and confident in their community.

Our In-Home Support services provide personalised assistance with daily tasks, helping participants live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible in their own home.
In-Home Support may include assistance with:

• Daily living tasks and routines
• Personal care and hygiene
• Household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Meal preparation
• Support with health and wellbeing

We aim to provide support that is respectful, consistent and aligned with each participant’s goals.

Our respite services provide participants with a safe, supportive environment while also giving families and carers time to rest and recharge. We focus on making respite a positive and meaningful experience.
Respite support may include opportunities to develop skills such as:

• Grocery shopping and meal planning
• Cooking and household tasks
• Personal care and daily routines
• Participating in social activities or events
• Developing healthy lifestyle habits

Our goal is to ensure participants feel comfortable, supported and empowered during their stay.
